Basic Online Skills 

CTDLC.org eLearning Solutions provide a short, easy-to-master, web based course on basic online skills. The goal is to give you a solid foundation. Once you have understood these basics, you will have a clear understanding on which to build your future knowledge of and skill with computers and the Internet.

This course is divided into four separate modules: Computer Skills; E-Mail Skills; Word Processing Skills and Web Skills. Each module is self-paced and includes review questions so you can check how much you have learned.

Your Learn Local has basic to advanced computer classes and many can help you with online courses as well. Intel have a basic online computer course here. The Farmer Health website provides information on research, education, and service delivery to improve the health, safety and well-being of farm men and women, farm workers, their families and communities across Australia. 

The Centre is a partnership between Western District Health Service and Deakin University and is based in Hamilton, Victoria and is the website for the National Centre for Farmer Health(NCFH).

The Farmer Health website’s key objective is to increase knowledge transfer across the target groups of farmers, rural professionals, academics and students.

 


 

Rural Skills Australia

Rural Skills Australia provides advice and assistance on rural and related skills and training to the National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) and its affiliated membership, Australian Apprenticeship Centres, Job Services Australia members, registered training organisations (RTOs) and Group Training Organisations

The Rural Career Guide is a combined resource for students and job seekers, new entrants to the industry, parents and educators, counsellors and employers. It features career descriptions, interactive displays, education and training options to highlight career pathways in rural and related industries.
